Summer is on it's way, we hope! Here's what we've got planned for the next month or you can browse all of our classes here.

Everybody's welcome at our weekly social 'Needles and Natter' session, every Thursday afternoon, between 2 and 4 o'clock, so please come and join us.

Do you have many unfinished 'Works In Progress'? Don't forget our UFO days on the first Friday of the month, to come and use our space to work uninterrupted.

If you would like to hire our space to work or for a group or a function, or if you would like us to plan a private workshop or party for a group, then please feel free to contact us on zigzags@hotmail.co.uk or phone us on 01952 814962 and we'll see what we can do.

Japanese boro workshop with Fran Scott

Saturday 16th June           1pm to 4pm                    Cost: £20

In this workshop you will learn the Japanese stitching technique of boro. Boro is a Japanese word meaning 'stitched rags' and is a traditional example of patchworked fabric. Historically in Japan, indigo and kimono fabric was very precious and never thrown away - old cloth was repaired and stitched together to make new items. In this workshop we will learn how to stitch and quilt layers of cloth to give them new life in this traditional Japanese way.
