Workshop updates

Our tutors have been very busy and have taught some wonderful workshops over the past few weeks.

Hilary's Friday group have been finishing off their sampler quilts and working on other projects.

Last month, Hilary taught them how to do clamshell patchwork.

Quite tricky but very effective!

Look at Helen's beautiful quilt! So much work. Almost finished :)

Barbara is adding footprints to her dinosaur quilt!

Alison has almost finished the cot quilts she is making for a set of twins. Aren't they gorgeous?

Barbara and Cindy had a go at this really effective house block.

Shiona brought this beautiful finished quilt to 'Show and tell'. We all thought it was amazing.

Anne's 'Creative Allsorts' ladies are continuing to work on their pieces.

Very clever ladies!

Hilary also taught a Saturday class on curved piecing.

As usual, the session started with 'Show and tell'. Look at these wonderful projects :)

Then Hilary went on to teach curved piecing. This can be quite a challenging technique, but ,as always, Hilary had lots of tips to make it easier.

Fran's 'Paper sculpture' groups have been delighted with their new skills.

Mandy taught a 'Dresden plate' workshop.

Such an effective design. The ladies worked so accurately and should be proud of themselves for these stunning results

Finally for this post, Mandy's beginner crochet ladies have been coming on in leaps and bounds. They have already made phone cases and tackled granny squares.

Wendy has even gone on to create this beautiful granny square blanket :)

Well done to all our ladies and thank you to our tutors. We are looking forward to sharing more with you very soon.
