Fran Scott will teach you all about sashiko, a traditional Japanese form of embroidery which uses simple running stitches in repeated geometric patterns on indigo cloth. It can be used in a variety of projects, to make cushions, table runners, wallhangings or quilts or, for example, to embellish garments or bags.
And, of course, any hand work is relaxing, allowing us to take a break from our busy lives and just focus on the pleasure of stitching.
