Folded 'jelly roll' bag with Sally Harrison
Come and make this delightful bag using fabric strips and a clever combination of quilting and folding.
Using 'Quilt as You Go' techniques and jelly roll (two and a half inch) strips, students will make a rectangular mini quilt which is bound and then folded and stitched into a handbag /mini tote/shoulder bag. You will learn how to make and attach a fabric shoulder strap, and finally decorate with a large button
Skills needed Students will need to know the basics of cutting fabric and using a sewing machine.
Materials Students will need to bring or buy the fabric, thread, button and wadding for their project, and bring or hire a sewing machine. If you book onto this workshop, you will receive a detailed list of what you need to bring.

Workshop runs from 10am till 4pm.
